Sweet Beans Desert
This desert is very popular in Vietnamese cuisine. Three kind of beans in coconut milk. It can be eaten hot or cold but most of Vietnamese prefer to eat it with shaved ice. A quick way to prepare this treat is using already cooked beans from a 15 oz. can. Wash the beans quickly to remove most of the salty juice. For each can of beans, boil 1/2 cup of water and 1/4 cup of sugar in a small pot. Add beans and cook them on a low heat. Remove the pot from flame when most of the water is gone and the beans are soft. You can eat this desert in any way that you like, cold or hot with coconut milk.
